Surgical
Surgical jawline contouring usually entails liposuction, chin implants, and/or buccal fat pad removal – each individual’s procedure varies. Liposuction removes excess fat at the base of the jaw in the neck, while chin implants extend and define the jawline. Buccal fat pad removal consists of withdrawing fat deposits in the cheeks to create a slim and contoured appearance.
Non-surgical
If you prefer a minimally invasive procedure, a non-surgical option is available. Botox and dermal fillers are the most popular treatments. Fillers add natural volume and a lifting effect to reduce sagging and drooping, and provide subtle contours to the jawline. A combination of both Botox and dermal fillers reduce wrinkles and fine lines in areas around the lips, chin, or jaw.

This signature technique, crafted by Dr. Garo Kassabian, does not require incisions or the use of needles. Instead, he uses Juvederm Ultra Plus XC and Voluma XC facial fillers to help achieve a natural contoured appearance, enhance your natural beautiful lines, and create a balanced look. The number of injections needed for contouring will be dependent upon expectations, facial structure, and your skin’s health.
Recovery & Results
Some patients may be concerned whether any pain is involved during the non-surgical procedure. Patients experience minimal to no discomfort, but a topical and/or local anesthetic is applied to the area to reduce any pain or discomfort.
The Game Changer™ is performed on an outpatient basis and takes approximately an hour or less – you can even have it done during your lunch break. There is no downtime and rarely any bruising or swelling. Once the procedure is complete, you can return to your daily routine when you are comfortable.
The results of the procedure are instant, except for Botox which take 7-10 days to become effective. You may notice a more defined jawline, tightening and lifting of loose skin , and diminished wrinkles. Results last approximately 18 months, depending on your lifestyle and the way your body naturally metabolizes the filler.
