Here are a few things to consider.
What is the difference between Silicone & Saline?
The look is generally the same, but the feel is different. Most patients that want a softer, more natural feeling breast choose Silicone, but we offer both options to our patients.
Silicone Gel Breast Implants
• Our silicone gel-filled breast implants have experienced worldwide acceptance for more than 25 years.
• They were approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for use in the US in November 2006.
• Gel-filled breast implants have an elastic silicone rubber shell and is filled with cohesive silicone gel.
• The safety of our gel-filled breast implants meet one of the most rigorous standards of all medical devices.
Saline Breast Implants
• Saline-filled breast implants were approved by the FDA in May 2000.
• A Saline-filled breast implants has an elastic silicone rubber shell and is filled with sterile saline (saltwater).
• During the breast augmentation procedure, the saline implants are placed in the newly formed pockets under your breast tissue and then filled with saline fluid to the size you and your plastic surgeon agreed upon.
What is the Difference between High Profile & Low Profile?
Breast Implants range in volume, shape and texture, we have a multitude of options to achieve a result fits your personal goals. The size and volume that’s right for you is based on existing breast tissue, your body type and frame. Dr. Kassabian will also pick a diameter and projection of implant that is appropriate for your body frame and goal.
What makes Dr. K technique so special?
Getting a breast augmentation isn’t just picking whether you want silicone or saline and whether you want moderate profile or high profile. The most important consideration is the training and technique of your surgeon.
Due to his meticulous, non-traumatic technique, Dr. Kassabian has been able to develop a special method that allows minimal scarring and discomfort. He also uses a special partially under the muscle technique so you have a natural look and will still be capable of breastfeeding.
During the surgery, you are treated with a team of experts which includes an anesthesiologist. We have two certified operating rooms for outpatient surgery so you are treated onsite with optimal care. Since Dr. Garo Kassabian has been certified in both plastic surgery and general surgery, your safety is first. Dr. Kassabian also has 3 fellowships in cosmetic surgery and over a decade of experience to assure you the natural, beautiful results.
Dr. Kassabian also believes in a very specialized pre surgery and post surgery regimen that includes both homeopathic and western medicine to optimize the healing process. Because of this program, his patients are generally off painkillers the second day after the procedure and have a very speedy recovery.

As the holidays roll around, while some people are worrying about what color tie they should buy their father-in-law, the rest of us are concerned with how much better we look this year compared to last. The last minute holiday beauty rush is well on it’s way. Here is the list of Lift MD Aesthetics’s® top 3 cosmetic procedures of the Holiday Season to help you with your decision.
A facelift smoothes loose skin on your face and neck, tightens underlying tissues and removes excess fat. Your bone structure, heredity and skin texture all play a role in how many “years” a facelift can “erase” and, to some extent, influence how long it will last. A facelift can be done alone, or in conjunction with other procedures such as a browlift, eyelid surgery, or nose reshaping.
A breast augmentation can include an enlargement, a reduction or a lift. Breast enlargement, also called augmentation mammoplasty, is designed to increase the size of small or underdeveloped breasts. Surgery can also restore and enhance your breast volume if it has decreased as a result of having children. A breast lift, also called mastopexy, raises and recontours loose, sagging breasts. You may decide you would like a breast lift because you have lost volume and tone in your breasts after having children. Another frequent reason for having this procedure is the loss of a significant amount of weight. Breast reduction, also called reduction mammoplasty, enhances your overall appearance by making your breasts more proportional to the rest of your body.
Lipoplasty, also called liposuction, removes localized collections of fatty tissue to give you a smoother and slimmer body contour. For the best results, you should be of relatively normal weight with extra fat localized in specific areas such as the hips, buttocks and abdomen. Lipoplasty is also effective in removing fat deposits from the back, legs, arms, face and neck.

Now that the kids are back in school, it’s time for mommy to focus on herself. From new moms to those with kids already out of the house, the Mommy Makeover procedure at Lift MD Aesthetics® is the perfect surgical package to get your body back into the shape you want. Dr. Kassabian can customize your makeover depending on your needs and history and will target only areas of concern.
A typical Mommy Makeover can include breast work: a breast augmentation, a lift with augmentation or reduction, or a breast lift only. A consultation will determine which of these options is right for you. The next step in the procedure focuses on the mid-section. Laser liposuction is used to remove any unwanted fat pockets and works to correct areas of stretched skin. A conditional third step is next. If there is an excessive amount of loose skin and weakened abdominal muscles, then a Tummy Tuck can be performed to correct these areas.
